Community Gmes; We are looking for boys and girls to take part in our multi event competition, they must be under 9 and over7 on 31st July 2017. In the event they will do Ball Throw, Long Jump, Small Hurdles and 50m relay, team of 6 (2 subs). The event takes place at the athletic finals in Mungret on 25/26 June, day will be confirmed later. Photographic Competition: We are currently taking names of children interested in taking part in the photography competition which is suitable for children from 3rd to 6th class. It will take place at a venue and date to be advised in June. Children will be required to take 6 photos which will be judged. Digital cameras will be supplied. Children are encouraged to bring some props with them like a hurley, football, garden tools, wellies or a doll they can use to set up photo shot. 5K Run: Salesian Secondary College will hold a 5KRun on Thursday 11th May at 10am. All pupils from all years are taking part in the event. Pupils have been following a Couch to 5K programme in physical education classes for the past 8 weeks. They have also com pleted part of their programme outside of school. The run will take place around Pallaskenry and is being organised and run by the transition year students in conjunction with the PE department.

Community Games: Congratulations to Ella Corbett, swimming and Seán O Sullivan gymnastics who represented the area and county at the national finals at the National Sports Centre in Dublin at the week end, while not featuring in the medals they did themselves proud.
